About EB & FLO
Hi, I’m Emily. I’m a emergency department nurse by background with an unfortunate knack for creativity and textile designs.
I unknowingly started Eb&Flo when I was shopping for Christmas gifts in 2025. In an AI-washed world, I was craving uniqueness and handmade goods. I taught myself how to sew and quickly became obsessed with the ability to create works of art I could wear and gift to friends.
Gifting custom pieces for friends and family quickly became an unintentional marketing tactic. People started sharing my contact information and reaching out to ask if I could commission pieces for them. I figured if I was selling pieces that I should probably create a brand name.
My initials (E.B.) were the foundation of my brand. Eb. I love the outdoors and I love the natural rhythm of change, movement, and transformation. I believe that creativity isn't static; it flows. Things change, people change. Things adapt, people adapt. Things evolve, people evolve. Flo. Thus, Eb&Flo was born.
Each piece begins as an existing shirt, bed sheet, shower curtain, sleeping bag, etc., sourced for its potential, history, or meaning. Through reconstruction and refinement, it is reworked by hand into something entirely new.
A solo, female-owned brand reworking thrifted and upcycled fabrics into one-of-one pieces, handmade in Vail Valley, Colorado.
